No Kissin in the Woods

Next Page

Michael was a happy 6- year old who liked going to school.  He had many friends.  One special friend was Susie.  She and Michael liked to play tag at school.  They liked to run into the woods, which was a part of the playground.  Many of the other children played in the woods also.

“Michael,” yelled Susie, “You can’t catch me, you can’t catch me.”

“Oh, yes I can,” yelled back Michael.  They took off running toward the woods.  Susie darted in and out between the trees with Michael chasing her.  After much dashing between the trees, Susie stopped.  Both were out of breath.

Susie looked at Michael and said, “You can kiss me if you want.”

Michael looked around and said, “You can kiss me if you want to too.”

“My mommy and daddy do it like this,” said Susie, and she planted a firm kiss on Michael’s lips.

Michael pushed her away and started to run and Susie ran after him.

Susie yelled, “Lets get married when we grow up.”

Michael yelled back, “Ok.”  Then the school bell rang and recess was over.
